First of, have you read multilog's manual?

I think this depends on how you start the daemons. I'm using Bruce
Guenter's supervise-scripts RPMs and I added this line to
/var/qmail/control/logger

        multilog t n50 s1000000 /var/log/{}

to keep the last 50 files of ~1MB logs.
