Hello,
from some time now, i'm receiving messages
corrupted with sequences of the char 'X'.
It dos not happen with all the messages, only
with a few, but it is persistent. Sometimes it
corrupts the header making the all messages
unreadable. Sometime corrupts attached files.
After doing some traces, I found that it could be
related to emails coming from Sendmail 8.8.8
servers (or Sendmails with a similar version).
Does anybody have the same (or similar problem)?
Is it Qmail or Sendmail problem?
Could it be a "chip is bad" problem?
By the way, I'm using Qmail 1.03 (19980615)
on a Linux box (Compaq Prosignia, 486DX 66Mhz)
with 2 Realtek ethernet cards.
