I have tried what you have both said..
When I do a antivirus-qmail-queue.pl -r I get

File: putty.exe
   Size: 1 bytes
   Description: TEST

File: eicar.com
   Size: 69 bytes
   Description: EICAR Test Virus

File: .vbs
   Size: Any
Description: Visual Basic Attachments Are not allowed

So that seems ok, but it does listen to what i tell it. The permission are
correct, I even delete the qmailscan direct and reinstalled using the
/.setup --install script

Any more tricks in the bag?

Regards

Warren.
