Errormsg: Maildir is a directory

hi,

i told qmail to deliver emails to /home/[user]/Maildir, but whenever qmail
tries to deliver an email, it prints
"unable_to_open_./Maildir:is_a_directory._(#4.2.1)"

somebody here who could tell me how to get this fixed ?
