i need some help in
qmail-pop3d issue.
i have this qmail
machine running for about a month now, and everything worked out just
fine.
im using the lwq
"to the letter" install.
my qmail-pop3d has
been starting via inetd up till now and has been working
gr8.
now, i wanted to
use it with tcpserver.
what i did, is
disable the entry from inetd.conf and HUPing inted.
then created
/var/qmail/supervise/qmail-pop3d
like
/var/qmail/supervise/qmail-smptd
i changed the run
in the log dir to point to /var/log/qmail/pop3d
and changed the run
command in the /var/qmail/supervise/pop3d dir to:
#!/bin/sh
/usr/local/bin/tcpserver -v -R 0 pop3 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup mydomainname \
/bin/checklocalpwd /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d Maildir 2>&1
now, i did a qmail
stop
qmail
start
everything got up,
including pop3d, but when i try to telnet to 110 in enters and
exists.
the log says unable
to find file
i dont understand
what im doing wrong
please help me , it
svery very urgent!!
