hi there, we have a nasty problem with qmail which refuses to send emails to users at t-online.de. delivery always fails with an errormessage saying: deferral: CNAME_lookup_failed_temporarily._(#4.4.3)/ we tried to fix this by compiling qmail again using a patch as advised in lwq at http://Web.InfoAve.Net/~dsill/lwq.html#dns-problem, but this didn't fix the problem. so, can somebody image what to do next ? note: the qmail-box is located behind a firewall (ipchains on linux). maybe this causes the problem ? regards, jens --------------------------------------------------------------------------- department computer science, university of dortmund linux ... life's too short for reboots!
