Thanks a lot Chris, that was the problem, it's
working great now.  I do wish I could customize
the responses but that's a minor complaint.

The documentation doesn't say you can do this. You don't get to have a
different TXT record for each address; you just have one line of the form:

:127.0.0.2:Go Away

and queries for *all* addresses you've listed will get an A record of
127.0.0.2
and a TXT record of "Go away."
