OK Maybe I should have given a short description
REDES allows networks from around the world to connect to one another
and basically use the single e-mail system, one single domain name,
and all very efficiently, tightly and easy to use from an
adminstrative point of view.
We are currently using it in the city of Sydney and looking at
extending to London and Kiev soonish, and we don't foresee any major
problems. In fact, our system should be able to cope without
modification.
Even though we only use one domain for our entire planet's e-mail
(well, inside our organisation anyway), the system can support as many
domains as you like around the globe. Run five seperate domains which
each span the globe. Add whatever qmail add-ons you like, extend
however you like. Basically what I am putting together is a real hard
core, working starting point for your corporation's distributed e-mail
system, which can be built upon without making even one small module
'dodgy'. It is made to work and work well.
I hope it meets the needs of the big and small sites that need this
capability.
/BR
