Host name not found

Hi,   I set up my qmail 1.03 on Red hat Linux 6.1 for lists.dom1.com. I am able to send and receive mails for this domain. But when I tried to setup a 2nd domain lists.dom2.com and try sending a mail to lists.dom2.com, i get an error -   Connecting to lists.dom2.com.dom2.com. via esmtp... Host unknown (Name server: lists.dom2.com.dom2.com.: host not found)   Both dom1.com and dom2.com are there in the rcpthosts file. I have tried to keep dom2.com in the virtualdomain file but still the same error occurs. The MX records point to the right box, as it connects to lists.dom2.com, but it then gives a host not found error. I am obviously missing something out here.
