Hi !
I have done everything that is written in docs. SMTP is working fine when I
telnet to it, but when I try to send it with pine (which is I think only
mail reader think working at this time (when I installed Maildir). Pine
always tells me 'SMTP greeting failure: 421 SMTP connection went away'.
Some background on my system (FreeBSD 4.1, qmail installed, I have my own
IP, my own domain name)...
My system was down for some time, and qmail wasn't working before for some
months now, but I need to get it back. I know I can receive mails ok, I
just can't send them, I even got POP3 to work. Is there a setting for SMTP
server. My provider has one so should I connect to his, or can I have my
own....
