install error

Hello,

I'm trying to install the qmail on macosxserver 1.2 and there is an   
error message:

  ../compile auto-str.c
  ../load auto-str substdio.a error.a str.a
  /usr/bin/ld: can't use -s with input files containg indirect symbols   
  (output file must contain at least global symbols, for maximum
  stripping use -x)
  make: *** [auto-str] Error 1

What can I do? Please help!
