Where do I put the startup commands for qmail
pop3d? All the HOWTOs, which are excellent on all other aspects, just
say, oh stick in a line that says:
tcpserver 0 pop3 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup
YOURHOST \
/bin/checkpassword /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d
Maildir &
I've tried putting in in /var/qmail/rc,
/var/qmail/supervise/qmail-smtpd/run and running it from a command line, but
the only one that works is the third option (which is obviously
unsatisfactory).
I realize this is a pretty newbie question, and
thank you in advance for your help.
