qmail POP before SMTP dies unexpected

Hello.

I installed the pop before smtp authentication package, so that the users
need to autheticate first before they can send mail.

But the problem ist that the readlog & qmail-send die unexpectedly. Then I
restart qmail and everything is fine again.

Anyone got a clue?
