Is it only qmail-rspawn that doesn't start? What about other
qmail daemons, that is, qmail-send, qmail-clean, and
qmail-lspawn? None of them can be found in the ps output.
(There is ``supervise qmail-send'', but it's supervise,
not qmail-send.)

What's logged in /var/log/qmail/qmail-send/current?
What happens if you do ``svc -u /service/qmail-send''?
What happens if you do ``svstat /service/qmail-send''?
