It's working now !!
I wanted to use checkpoppasswd.c from Paul Gregg in order to store
passwords outside of /etc/passwd.
I had a problem of compilation of checkpoppasswd.
I renamed checkpoppasswd.c in checkpasswd.c in checkpassword-0.90 and make
the installation.
