But beware - many UAs play poorly with maxrcpts in that they view a
rejection at the (say) 101th recipient as a rejection of all
recipients and proceed to subsequently retransmit to all recipients.

The net effect is that a UA submission with more recipients than your
maxrcpts will repeatedly fail forever. The UAs are wrong and the RFC
provides guidance, but the reality is you will get a call...
