Hi,

I am using qmail to deliver main to an NFS mounted filesystem with quotas
enabled on the filesystem (as opposed to the maildir++ quota system). I
have noticed that if a user receives a message which is too large to fit
in his directory, the message remains in the queue until the user removes
enough messages to accomodate the incoming large message. But if the
message is so large that it will never fit in the users directory, is
there a way to 1) inform the user or 2) inform the sender or 3) or just
plain bounce the message back to the sender. The reason I chose the
system enforceable quotas over maildir++ quotas is because the users do
have shell access. Does anyone have any advice.

Thank you.

Edward.
