I doubt it's a problem with qmail. It's more likely to be vpopmail, or
somethine else. Unless, of course, you have any patches applied to
qmail -- all bets are off at that point.

This should be totally unnecessary; qmail doesn't corrupt its queue
(ever, in my experience). Every queue corruption I've ever seen has
boiled down to someone futzing with the queue by hand when they didn't
know what they were doing.
