Hi all,
I have recently been thrown into the qmail administrators position. I have
spent the last three weeks reading "LWQ" along with anything else I can
locate. I still do not know a lot, but I'm learning.
I was asked several questions today that I don't even know where to start
to look for the answers. Hopefully you guys will not kill me too badly (my
girlfriend might object :)).
We have a Cisco Intrusion Detection System (IDS) that continuously reports
qmail length crash events.
The questions asked of me was;
Is this a problem?
If it is a problem what are the consequences?
Can I supply any background information?
I would appreciate any information and/or pointers to information you could
provide.
