Hi.

In using qmail to deliver to an NFS mounted filesystem. (all systems being
redhat linux 7.1), with quotas enabled on the filesystem not maildir++, I
cannot get qmail to deliver a bounce message that user has exceed disk quota. I was
poring through the source codes and noticed in error_str.c that ENOSPC is
defined as "disk quota exceeded", it just seems that qmail isnt testing
for that error code. Before I begin to attempt to patch qmail, I was
wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Once I can get the correct
error message into the bounce email, I would also like to achieve the
effect of having qmail immediately notify the sender that the email
could not be delivered because of quota problems.. is there a way to do
this without changing queuelifetime? I still want queuelifetime to be 1
week, but want to force a message earlier.

Thank you for any advice.

-Edward.
