Starting Qmail fails

Hi All,
I am trying desperatly to get qmail to start after installing it on a Alpha
DS20 - Tru64 5.6

I get the following error repeatedly trying to start:

softlimit: exec failed to allocate default stack (3)

I dont know what this means, so I am not sure how to solve it.

Any advise???
