Hello,

I'm trying to set the To: header to be specific to each user in a list setup
with these programs:

qmail 1.03
qmail-verh .06 patch (remote and local)
ezmlm 0.53 + idx patch
vpopmail 4.9.10

The jab.org and archive substitutions work perfectly on remote email addresses, but
they don't work on local addresses.

The README for qmail-verh says this:
Substitutions are done only if a ezmlm-style VERP SENDER of the format

llll-return-y-zzz=www@hhhh

is seen. ``zzz'' is the subscriber local part, ``www'' the host ``llll'' is
the list local name, ``y'' the message number, and ``hhhh'' the list host.

I havn't been able to figure out how the VERP sender is set, to track it
down. When I look at the headers, the closest header is the Return-Path:
which comes through in this format:

Return-Path:
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

As you can see there is an extra "virtdomain.dom" listed, compared to the
README instructions. I'm thinking this might be the problem.

If anyone has any experience with this sort of setup, or has any ideas how
to change the Return-Path: or what the VERP is all about, please let me
know.

Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks,

Russ
