Hello,
I know this is a FAQ, and I already looked there for the answer, but it
does not answer my particular problem. I'm getting the "cname lookup
failed" error, however my DNS seems to be properly resolving the addresses
in question (mailexcite.com for one). For example, if I type:
dig mailexcite.com
I get a correct response.
I read on a mailing list that mismatched libraries could be the problem, so
I recompiled and restarted qmail, but that doesn't seem to help. I also saw
on another mailing list that a patch exists to determine if the DNS lookup
failure was a local or remote failure, however the link to that patch was
not working.
What other possibilities are there?
I have Debian Testing with the Qmail 1.0.3 package.
