Two daemons with same queue safe?

All,

I plan  on running two  qmail-smtpd daemons on  the same server.  One on
port  25 and  the  other  on port  26.  Is it  safe  to  share the  same
/var/qmail/queue  between these  or will  have I  have recompile  with a
different conf-qmail? My guess is that  it's safe since the files in the
queue correspond  directly with  an inode number,  however, I  thought I
should make sure before I put it into production. :-)
