Hello;
I have compiled the daemontools and djbdns software
to try to use the rbldns programs to create a company
used small Blackhole list... but it does not seem to be
working. For political reasons we cannot use the public
ones which would make my life much easier...
The documentation is a little sparse on this, but I tried
to follow them as much as possible. From what I understand
rbldns does not depend on any other djbdns programs and
can run independently if configured correctly.
I thought that after getting rbldns running all I needed
to do was add IP Addresses that I want to block to the
data file and then run make to build data.cdb. Alas,
I have tried to test it using rblcheck, but I do not
get any correctly filtered responses. Instead for any
IP Address I check I get:
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX not RBL filtered by <hostname>
Does anyone have any insight or go FAQ/setup instructions
for using rbldns.
Thanks.
