Hi.
I'm running Linux Mandrake 8.0 on a 166mhz P1. I followed the
instructoins for installation of qmail using lifewithqmail.org.
Now, I started running the suggested tests to make sure that
my system is set up properly. I typed in "ps -A" and I got a
list. On that list there are supposed to be 4 qmail items.
What I got was three, all of them labeled qmail start, so I
tried it again, and I got two of the ones I was supposed to
and two qmail starts, then I typed it again and got none,
and again and got the 4 I was supposed to get, etc.
It seems as if qmail is starting, crashing, restarting, crashing.
Am I reading this wrong? Or did my qmail fail this installation
test? If it's the latter, how can I fix it? Or how can I find out
more about the problem?
