Not having a Maildir present will not cause that error. qmail thinks
there is no such user, not that it has no Maildir. For users in
/etc/passwd, read 'man qmail-getpw' to see how qmail decides if the user
exists. For simple aliases, there must be a matching .qmail in ~alias.
What kind of user is this? If /etc/passwd, read the above manpage and
report back with the whole delivery attempt if you still don't
understand it (usernames intact, at least).
