There is a sendmail binary which is compiled from the qmail-source.
Have the sendmail and qmail-inject in /var/qmail/bin/ and create a
symbolic link from sendmail.
ln -s /var/qmail/bin/sendmail /usr/local/sbin

I believe it would fix it.
