I tried to add that line into conf-cc, but it still complains and asks me to set it at most 125. : (

Whats OpenBSD's reason for having such a low value? I can set my linux/qmail server to 500

Why doesn't it make any sense in most cases ?

yes, you can set the conf-spawn max higher ;-))

Makes no sense in most cases, though.
