Qmailadmin's idea of Aliases and Forwarders has one fundamental
difference: Aliases are ALWAYS local, meaning they can only be
assigned to local POP boxes while forwarders can be used to forward
either to your own domain or to a foreign one (I'm still not sure if
this is really needed as most users will go the easy way and just
create forwarders for all cases...).
Or am I misinterpreting something here?

BTW: I'd like to have a possibility to turn off that feature on a per
Domain or even better on a per user basis as it could create
some big troubles if one decides to just rely on catchall for some
addresses such as info@ and a malicious users creates an alias to just these
(users are a pain, ya know...)

Best regards,
 Gabriel
