Hello Boys!
I have the same Problem with qmailadmin 0.32 and qmailadmin 0.37 - I
can't change the passwords of a POP3-Account.
I found this thing on the list for arround five times, but there wasn't
any answer that helped me going on:
"Does it work properly when you try to change it manually?"
- yes, it does.
"I just tested with the latest development versions and I can
successfully change passwords"
- fine! What can I do to make my qmailadmin change passwords, too? Any
suggestions/suppositions?
"Maybe a permissions problem for the qmailadmin cgi?"
- I don't think so. Everything else works out fine.
But wait: Maybe this thing is like with FTP, where you can copy a new
File to a FTP-Server, but you cannot override an existing File
(nevertheless you can delete the existing File an then copy your stuff
(makes not much sense, does it?)). Unfortunately I'm not a big expert in
permission-stuff.
Is ther anybody who has suggestions/suppositions for me?
