Hi Michael,

We have almost 80 users using the Fake Class IP address of 168.168.1.* . I think there is no need to
open roaming for this group of user, since they are located under the same office envirnoment. Instead, just
keep an entry inside /etc/tcp.smtp should be ok.

Subject: Re: Clearopensmtp still adding roaming IP into ~vpopmail/etc/open-smtp

Is it really a problem?  Do you even need to add it to /etc/tcp.smtp?  If you have roaming users on, you should not need to add it to the tcp.smtp.  It is just more trouble to keep up with what is in tcp.smtp and what is not.  I would just let roaming users keep up with it.  I don't know if I am right here or not, but I think that if the roaming users feature is enabled, it is going to put every ip address into its database, regardless of what is already in tcp.smtp.

Dear All,

We are using vpopmail 4.9.6, recently. We added a new class of IP into /etc/tcp.smtp , but vpopmail are still adding that class of IP address into his ~vpopmail/etc/open-smtp for roaming.
