I have been playing around with the autoresponder feature and am having
some trouble understanding how to implement it.

UserA@domain is going on vacation.

I can create a responder VacationA@domain and assign in to the mailbox
UserA but it doesn't respond.

I can send a message to VacationA@domain and it correctly responds and
sends a copy of the message to UserA@domain.

But I'm not sure how to make messages to UserA@domain respond with the
autoresponder VacationA@domain.

If I forward UserA@domain to VacationA@domain and somebody@otherdomain
sends a message to UserA@domain the autoresponder sends a reply to
somebody@otherdomain and also sends a failure notice to
somebody@otherdomain because the autoresponder sends a duplicate message to
UserA@domain.

Without creating a NEW account other than UserA@domain and creating an
alias of UserA@domain for that account and then switching it for the
Autoresponder how can I properly configure this?

Thanks,
tom
