I can't confirm this. I checked my live demo, Inter7's live
demo, my copy of 0.76ac3 and the copy of 0.76ac3 on Inter7's
site. All of them have bgColor="#bbbbbb" for line 55. Text is
visible. Perhaps you have an old html file?
