matt Simersons patchs

In the INSTALL file for pre5 it suggests installing Matt Simersons Relaying patch when using MySQL.  I checked around Matt's site and found the patchs for 4.9.10 but nothing newer.  I also found in the archives some mentions that these would be included in the next release of vpopmail. 
 
What is the verdict?  I have installed my vpopmail install using the following:
 
./configure --enable-roaming-users=y --enable-logg
ing=e --enable-mysql=y --enable-valias=y
Is there another option that I sould be using for Relay controls?
