When moving the entire /var/qmail dir, it worked. But I still don�t know why, because 
I copied the content of the control-files and pasted it onto the new server.

yes, I discovered those files, and tried to syncronize those files also. But I still 
get the same error. Could there be even other files?

I se an number like 503 on my old system. Could it be that the error occurs, since 
that userid or groupid doesn�t exist on the server ? (I can�t see how, since the 
folders, files is owned by those chk* group thing.

Have you copy the /var/qmail/control/virtualdomains and 
/var/qmail/users/assign* files?
