I have quite a few clients that use Win98 to retrieve their email from the server. The problem is when their boxes crashes (gota love Micro$oft) they get all paranoids along the lines of. did I loose any emails!
One solution in would be to create 2 mail folders for each user, something like: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Then alias [EMAIL PROTECTED] so the mail drops into both mail folders. I then create a cron job that deletes all files older then 7 days in [EMAIL PROTECTED] mail folder. Is there any cleaner way of doing this?
