autorespond exits with status code 99 if maximum count is reached which prevents further .qmail processing. It is a strange behaviour IMHO. from autorespond README file: ---------------------- Notes ===== - If the maximum count has been reached, then the message is not forwarded on to you. If you wish to change this behavior, change _exit(99); on line 455 for mysql, 440 for the normal one to: _exit(0); --------------------- In your .qmail file you have to put the line /home/vpopmail/domains/yourdomain/user/MailDir/ before | autorespond etc.... but qmailadmin doesnt do it. I really dont like this behaviour and at this moment i am going to rewrite parts of autorespond AND qmailadmin to make vacation messages more usuable. I will post to this list as soon as i finish my work. (autorespond with date from and date until activation, qmailadmin combining alias, robots, pop3 At the moment you can change exit code in autorespond.c as mentioned in the readme file above. regards janning > Any pointers would be greatly appreciated... > > TIA, > > --Duncan -- Janning Vygen Konkordiastrae 18 40219 Dsseldorf fon 0211-3984055 mobil 0178-3984055
