[qmailadmin] qmail and upgrading of OS it current runs on

I want to know what impact would upgrading from RH7.2 to RH8.0 have on my existing (and functioning very well) qmail installation.   Do I need to take any preliminary steps outside of backing up the server first in order to have a smooth transition?
