(Possible bug?)

What versions of vpopmail and qmailadmin?

For no images:

What configure options did you use for qmailadmin? If you view the source of the QmailAdmin login page, what URLs is it using for the graphics (look for IMG SRC=)?

Where are the files stored for your website (usually /var/www/html)? Is there an images directory there with a qmailadmin directory containing the graphics? Can the web server read files in that directory? Do you have entries in your web server's error log showing the image URLs that are failing?

For no login:

What auth backend are you using in vpopmail? The default of cdb? Or maybe MySQL?

What error message does QmailAdmin display? Is the setuid and setgid bit set on your qmailadmin binary? (ls -l should report "-rwsr-sr-x 1 vpopmail vchkpw", if you don't have the "s", then you can't authenticate).

Is your web server configured to allow setuid programs to run? Do you get any error messages in the web server logs when you try to log in?
