I have a doubt using vpop+mysql. in the new version of vpopmail, I saw that there's no more the needing to configure the vmysql.h, but, using the file ~vpopmail/etc/vpopmail.mysql i really need to use mysql with port listen. for those that use mysql as RAW, is there a way to configure it in a new config file ?
Did previous versions of vpopmail allow for a raw interface (I assume, through a socket file like mysql.sock) to mysql?
If not, what would be involved with updating vmysql.c to use a file socket?
We could extend the format of vpopmail.mysql to use the socket filename instead of the TCP port number to indicate raw access.
