Hi there,

Yes; maybe the vchkpw list will do better. This is the qmailadmin list.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] is a mailing list. A mailing list supplies a
discussion platform, not RPMs. Where exactly did you get these RPMs
(URL)?

Where, when?

If _you_ had to set these permissions, something is badly broken. In a
working setup, vpopmail will do this all by itself.

vpopmail obviously thinks his user and group ID are 407 and 426, which
in turn is a good explanation why it cannot create files in your
directories.

Delete the RPM, install from source.

Maybe the RPM is broken, or you did something wrong with it. I can't
tell without the knowledge of which RPM you used.

Inter7 provides only the source, no RPMs. What you installed is
obviously an unofficial package.

No. After setting up the domain you can use vpopmail's command-line
utilies to manage your user base.
