Not to worry, this is not off topic!
but i'm having trouble figuring out how to use tomaildir for my spam-command. i dont want to use the default maildrop. any hints/help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
In order to use tomaildir, you'll need to create a script that will run spamc (assuming you are running SpamAssassin) and then deliver the mail with tomaildir.
Your spam-command would then contain something like this:
"|/path/to/preline /path/to/yourscript"
