Is it possible to configure a mailing list footer with a

This is in the list of Feature Requests for QmailAdmin on SourceForge. As of the current release though, you cannot edit the footer.

I might like to configure other things like permitting
posts only by sender as well.

If you install ezmlm-idx, QmailAdmin will let you modify that setting.

My experience with ezmlm is far more limited than my qmail experience
in general and I'm not sure how one would set this up. If this is just
basic ezmlm stuff and it all works fine by treating it as a
non-qmailadmin managed ezmlm list, even when allowing qmailadmin to
manage it, then I'm happy to go RTFM.

As long as you use ezmlm-make and just edit the other configuration files manually, QmailAdmin should be able to keep up. If you have a configuration that it doesn't like, let us know and we'll try to fix QmailAdmin.
