I agree with you.  I am not talking about confirming your own post.  That
would be fine.  But this is moderation. All posts are going to all of the
moderators for moderation.

Yes, that option works fine but not the one in question.

You can try setting up a test list with a bunch of moderators.
Send a test message to the list from one of the moderators and see 
that this is moderation and not just confirming one's posts.
