Hi, everyone.
We've been hard at work on some new features for qmailadmin. Now that we've
made
some decent progress with the new features, I figured we should share them with
everyone to get input.
Firstly, we are adding group mailboxes. Essentially this means that you can
allow a regular user to create a particular number of mailboxes and manage just
those
mailboxes without any special permissions over anything else. This adds a new
link
either to the postmaster's main menu, or to the individual user's modify user
screen
called 'My Mailboxes'.
We've improved the search functionality. The search string will not only
compare
against their username, but also their GECOS, and will also only return results
that
match. The index buttons still function as before.
Also there is now a Disable/Enable Account button. This disables the account
without
removal.
Great care has been taken to make sure these new features do not interfere with
the
look of qmailadmin as to not confuse end-users.
Let me know if there are any questions or comments.
Thanks!
