but i don't understand why vpopmail is using the onchange mechanism,
while qmailadmin is not!

and just to be sure the onchange is seen by qmailadmin i simply added
this line in the qmailadmin-onchenge patch
printf ("ONCHANGE_SCRIPT=%d <BR>\n", ONCHANGE_SCRIPT);
which prints out "ONCHANGE_SCRIPT=1" when adding a mailing list.
Anyway, the ~vpopmail/etc/onchange script is never called by
qmailadmin.
