I am also using -r sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org instead of -r sbl.spamhaus.org as was during installation. As a matter of fact sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org is what the spamhaus.org site recommends.

It will help quite a bit over just the sbl list.  It won;t get them all, but it stops a whole lot of them.
Also if you only are running it for your own domain, you might consider tagged message delivery. But I wouldn't use it if you're hosting other peoples sites.
