OK - makes sense now. So anyone with a new install has no worries - this is just to upgrade.

That said, why not just move the bayes_seen and bayes_toks files from the old location to the new, and double-check that permissions are set right? This way you don't mess with the code.

During the upgrade process you have to remove the old version of spamassassin-toaster before installing the new one, and the new version wants to use /root/.spamassassin as it's new Bayesian DB directory.
