I've used the script at
http://www.malibyte.net/iptables/scripts/fwscripts.html for ages without a
problem.

This server will be the core of a 20 workstation network and of course
it will be a production facility. I know it's easyer to have a
separate router, I could just use a Freesco box with a floppy
installation with almost 0$ investment, but why to mess up the
picture, when I have a nice little Intel SR1425BK1-E platform with a
RAID 1 setup and Gbit network all connected to a UPS.
Samba seems to work, I don't think here will be a problem.
But the router.... Ah....
I'm not familiar with iptables. Of course there are tons of
documentation on the net, but time is not on my side anymore. So I'm
trying to find a router application, or at least a script to make
thing easyer. Till now I found Guarddog and Guidedog. They look really
nice, but they come with failed dependencies and this is the point
where I get sick.
Do you know, by mistake, something equivalent to Guarddog and
Guidedog, which will run on a Qmail Toaster server installed by the
book?
